I have really bad strech marks on my butt from quickly losing and gaining ten pounds in a short period of time. Are there any creams or surgical remedies? I'm tired of feeling so self conscious.

get used to it, stretch marks are scars and as such are pretty much permanent. You can use creams to soften the skin and make them less apparent, and over time they will fade some, but they are scars and you are stuck with them.

Sadly, nothing can completely erase stretch marks, because the stretching happens in the deepest layer of skin -- so deep, no moisturizer can touch it. Sorry! But, by following these suggestions, you can drastically decrease the appearance of your stretch marks.

Rub Vitamin E on your stretch marks often.

Use other creams if you prefer. Good examples include cocoa butter, mederma cream; Retin A cream (but only if you're not pregnant); Vitamins A, E, or K; caster oil; laser surgery, in extreme cases; and thiosinaminum, which is a chemical extracted from mustard seed oil.

Rub one of these products on your stretch marks daily

Make sure to buy a good quality Vitamin E with high potency.
You could also try hydrotherapy, which is a cold shower followed immediately by a hot shower.
Skin brushing three to four times a week may also help you.

Stretch marks can appear on many areas of your body for different reasons including pregnancy, obesity, sudden growth spurts, or heredity. They can appear on your stomach, under arms, chest, upper thighs, waist and butt. So how do you get rid of stretch marks? There are many ways to get stretch marks to fade almost completely.

There are many over the counter creams and oils that you may try which can, in some cases reduce the overall appearance of your stretch marks. One of the recommended creams that will help to reduce the stretch marks is the Belli Stretchmark Minimizing Cream, which is a multi-enriched treatment specially formulated for stretchmarks.

Alas, they will never really go away, but will fade. Cocoa butter helps soften them. Mederma (OTC scar fading) is supposed to help. My doctor offered to give me Retin A (acne med) for stretch marks after I had my son. However, I had to wait until I stopped nursing and forgot about it.

Good luck and be well!

The surgery options depend on what part of your bottom the stretch marks are on. Go have a consultation with a plastic surgeon if you're really serious.
