Its is an contradiction. No answer will work because 7 does not equal -7

Your last line is wrong, but the one above it is correct.

-3x + 7 = -3x - 7
7 = -7

Since this is a FALSE statement, there is no solution.

In the future, if you get an answer like 0 = 0, then you have something called an "identity". EVERY number you put in place of x should "work". So it would not be "no solution", but rather, everything is a solution. We right this as:

{x I x is a real number}

I hope this helps!

it comes out to 0=-14 so its no solution

-X+3-2(X-2)=-3X-7
+X +X
3-2(X-2)=-2X-7
3-2X+4=-2X-7
-2X+3+4=-2X-7
-2X+7=-2X-7
-7 -7
-2X=-2X-14
then you simplify, which i think would be an infinate solution (you can put any number in it)
