I mean it is nothing but a game filled with pompous, arrogant, over confident blowhards who do nothing but try and showboat and prove how stupid of people they truly are. There is nothing anymore about it that is even close to being a sport. It has the same personalities of professional wrestling. I give up and being from Seattle, I hope the Sonics do move away...who needs a group of meglomaniacs charging incredible amounts of money for tickets to a game just to listen to them whine and cry and act like spoiled babies.

I care about my local team, (warriors) the home games are great. But the rest, no. The finals were pathetic, you can see why the US isn't the best at basketball anymore.
What I really don't care about though is baseball. I was just about to get over the 1994 strike when the steroids thing hit. Who knows if I'll ever pay attention to it again.

It must be quite hard at times to be home-schooled and even though i go to public school i hate the lessons. I sometimes wonder "Why the heck am i learning this? I'm never going to use it" but the other day my teacher actually gave me the answer that actually made sense. Theres a first. Yes although some of the stuff does seem pointless' its information we need to know to pass an exam. Once thats done we can use that exam to open up so many opportunities. Your future could be bright Even if math doesn't apply to basketball its always such a help to have so many options :) xx good luck try to concentrate

As a person who played hs and college sports, I can tell you personally, sports provides nothing to the common good.
It is a selfish career, which is just another form of entertainment for the masses which are bored with life, and need something.
Remember, they are just delivering to the public what THEY want, be it violence, sex, explosions, decadence, etc.
Progress? The human race has made NO progress in the past 3000 years...stay tuned for the same stuff, different day.

No one is forcing yot to watch it...people do still enjoy watching pro b-ball..otherwise the games would never be sold out.
