There are three ways that you can get Houndour in Pearl:
1-You cannot find a wild houndour in the wild, but you can catch a wild Houndoom in the wild and breed it with a ditto to get a Houndour. Houndoom can be found on route 214 & 215 by using the pokeradar in the grass.
2-Trade through the GTS or go to serebii.net and use the wi-fi chat to get one. Or you can just trade with a friend.
3-If you already have one in emerald, just migrate it into your pearl verison

yes migrate houndour from emerald and make sure it's holding any item 2 bring over that's what i'm doing mostly all my pkmn are holding MASTERBALLS & RARE CANDIES
but HONESTLY i don't own a ds lite or pkmn diamond & pear
but i will this w'kend as a EARLY BIRTHDAY PRESENT :) if u can't find houndour he/she's in the safari zone in emerald way over in the far right.GOOD LUCK :)

You can't you can only get Houndour by breading Houndoom. they are found on rute 212 I think.

I know how to get one in Emerald. First defeat the Elite four. Secondly, go to the safari zone extention. Finally go and catch yourself one.
