Saludos y disfruta mucho de tu embarazo, felicidades.

Forever by Peter Hamill-about a man who can live forever as long as he stays on the island of Manhattan
Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach-about a seagull who wants to fly fast(trust me there's a bit more to it)
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott-about a group of girls keeping the homefires while their father is away during the Civil War
These books moved me in a positive way. I read a lot-like 4 to 5 books a week for 35 years and these 3 stand out in regards to your parameters.

two books -
"the moral animal" by robert wright - it talks about why people are the way they are - looking at the cover might make you think its too heavy but hes a great writer and he does an incredible job with the subject .... and .... "a short history of almost everything" by bill bryson - it is what it sounds like - everything - same as the other one, if you pick it up and glance it may seem like alot to bite off - but its really well done - a great education and really interesting and entertaining - its amazing what a great writer can do with a big subject - he makes huge things understandable

Gifted Hands by Dr. Ben Carson - An uplifting story about an African-American's rise from poverty to becoming the nation's most respected pediatric neurosurgeon. You don't need to understand medicine to enjoy the book.
The Know-It-All by A.J. Jacobs - about a man's attempt to read the entire Encyclopedia Britanica cover to cover. It is quite funny and informative.

in accordance on your e book record, you'll adore The Mortal contraptions series through Cassandra Clare with the accompanying series, The Infernal gadgets. you'll like it. trust me. ;) Hush, Hush is somewhat, brilliant. the 2d e book in basic terms got here out (Crescendo). i have not study the 2d e book yet even if it seems very promising. it is in reality about Nora and Patch, who's an angel. there is also this different angel lady that tries to get interior the way and in reality end Nora. It has romance, somewhat suspense, and somewhat delusion. you'll like that one too. i have heard Vladimir Tod is especially good, yet i have not heard of the others. good success!

based on the description of the books you want to read, i highly recommend that you read books by Paolo Coelho...
Start w/ The Alchemist...then try reading The Fifth Mountain, The Devil and Miss Prym...They sound Boring but believe me...Paolo Coelho's a great story teller (yes these are stories, not self-help books...philosophical yet utterly entertaining)...If you're a romantic...11 Minutes is a good one too...
For a little chuckle...read Venus Envy by Shannon McKeldden...
Tuesdays w/ Morrie and Five people You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom are good books too...
Enjoy reading! and try reading to your baby too...this stimulates them and helps in the baby's development...=)
