How many squats and lunges should I do. I can touch the backboard but not the rim?

dunking is only a confidence booster. If you can dunk but you cant dribble, rebound, box out, do layups, set a pick, play defense, you are still not a good basketball player.

If you play basketball jsut because you want to dunk, maybe u shouldnt start in the first place. Trust me, build up all the fundamentals first before start "learning" how to dunk

SQUATS BABY!!! Im 5'9 and I can grab the rim. In 3 months I gained 8 in, on my vertical because of squats, leg curls, and leg extensions. Every other day, and remember not to kill yourself lifting, no matter how hard your buddies push themselves, because if you get hurt, it wastes alot of valuable time.

just kepp on trying with a basketballand jump and then soon you can dunk it.

keep on jumpin while using the rope as much as you can...then out like a chair and keep jumpin from side to side...untill its good with you...keep on jogging as well...
