Feb 2006 38J to 38C 5 lbs taken off.
It went great. I had NO pain at all with the recovery. I had no drains at all. I was off work for two weeks (take more time off for physically active jobs) and was back to full duty after my incisions closed up (which takes maybe a month or two).
My scars are barely visible, I used Mederma and Scarguard on my scars and massaged them.
I regained nipple sensitivity at three months, though it can take over a year for it to return.
This site helped me out a lot before and after surgery.

Neither. It went FANTASTICALLY!!!!!!!
I had mine 8 weeks ago and was reduced from a 34G to a 34DD (still large, but I wanted a sexy size still) . I can now run, jog, wear great clothes, lean over without boobs popping out of my bra, no more back, neck and shoulder pain. It is awesome. I was in very little to almost no pain, regained sensation in my left niple after 5 days and in my right nipple after 2 weeks. My scars have already faded to a pale pink and white, I have no more breast pain. And I can actually stand up straight :)
I recommend this surgery to anyone of any age. I am 21 and am so glad that I have got this over and done with and can now move on with perky gorgeous breasts.

My reduction went great. had it done in October 2004 I was a 34GG prior to (5'2"). back pain, pressure from the bra strap on my neck muscles, caused severe headaches. I went down to a 36C. Wonderful. Pain is minimal (I know, and my mom *and* grandmother had it done, also with no pain). there is scarring, but depending on your race, it may fade with time. Pain on the day of, and after that, it was just tylenol (regular strength) for me. I was out 10 days from work, mostly because you can't lift your arms, or else you'll possibly break the stitches.
Hope this helps in your decision.

VERY BAD ....I had one about 10 yrs ago. it hurts like crazy. I have bad scars from side to side and up to and around my nipples. Scars can be covered with a bra but still.......... it wasn't worth it! I went from a DD to a size B or C cup. Lost feeling in my nipples for a few months. Then after giving birth they grew back to almost their original size.Waste of time, pain and money. Get a good Doctor if u decide but I advise NOT!!!

Breast reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
