To determine number of passengers:
boat length in feet x boat width in feet / 15 = persons

For example:
16.5 x 6 = 99 99/15=6.6 Round down to 6 people.

You will need to reduce the number by 1 for each 150 lbs of camping gear on board.

there is a data plate attached to the transom of the boat that answers this question, or you can get it off the builder's web site......minimum hp would be 25, and you wont go that fast....40 or 60 would be normal but then you need a console and steering wheel ( 'cause you can't control a 40 or above by hand) reducing the # of passengers and gear accordingly.....
