e-Mail...block the sender...if multiple senders from the same domain, block the domain.

If it is e-mail, forward the message with the *full* header to abuse@domain.???

If your e-mail program will allow it, enter a rule that will automatically delete any e-mail fulfilling the rule: body/subject containing "laptop for you"

If it is not e-mail, run spyware, adware, and virus scans on your computer ASAP.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

download firefox for free, Just have a try:

Is this an e-mail? If it is, just add the adress to spam. You shouldn't get anymore. If it just appears on your computer when not in e-mail, run a virius scan. Here's a free one - www.trendmicro.com and go to Housecall.

I'm not sure what you're asking, but if it's an email a person keeps sending you, add his/her address to your list of blocked addresses. That should do the trick.

If it's a popup then make sure your firewall blocks multicasts.
