Which soldering tool should I get? Is there possibly one that I can buy a brass tip to go to it? If you have a question, IM me.

I don't need anything fancy, just something simple that will cut through it to where I can cut along lines.

If you have a wood burning tool, there is a knife tip that is available. It's called a stencil cutting blade. You just remove the tip you have on the tool, and screw this one on. After it heats up, it should cut right though the bottle.

Is this CARVING (block / solid) or CUTTING (sheet) plastic ?

I use an Xacto knife (#11) blade to cut sheet styrene.

To CARVE blocks of styrene and foam I use a HOT WIRE cutter ( check www.woodlandscenics.com ). Though I DO use a respirator when cutting as the fumes are toxic.

To do finer work (in carving) I use a knife or dremel tool.

Good LUCK !!

There is a wood burning tool by black and decker, or craftsman. One of the two. Both are reasonably priced, lasts forever, and has many other uses.
