for the past six years and congress for eleven before the past mid-term elections? Where is the party of responsibility and what is their part in this mess we now have? I blame democrats for not having enough balls to stand up to our President and risk being called un-American for voting to support him with Iraq but what about the rest? Open borders and ports, huge deficits both national and trade, millions of illegals even after the Reagan act in 86' to stop the illegals, signing statements to get around the rule of law, hapeus corpus suspended, torture, Abu Garhaib, Osama Bin Laden and on and on. Where is the responsibility?

You've have quite a list of trumped up charges! (Especially at the end of your list - hey why not, you were on a roll).

But, wading through the crap, your main point of who is the party of responsibility is undeniably correct. Republicans were in control of Congress. Yes, for part of that time they had to deal with a Democratic President, but in the most recent years they failed to do what got them elected (conservative principles - and they strayed away from that)and last fall, the voters spoke up.

I agree that the '86 immigration bill contributed to the problem we have today with illegal aliens. And certainly the current Administration is trying to sell us a "bill of goods".

However, most of the damage caused by liberals was not due to legislation (although there is some influence). Most of it has come from the courts and liberal judges legislating from the bench.

When Bill Clinton had a great economy and added a record amount of jobs in his Presidency

The Republicans said ... oh that's because of what Ronald Reagan did

Talk to a brick wall, you'll get a more intelligent conversation then talking with a hardcore Republican.

I'm assuming you're not expecting a well reasoned or rational answer to that question are you? That would mean that the cons on these boards would actually have to make their gods in the GOP accountable and start questioning their actions. It would also mean that these same cons would have to have some self reflection, of which we all know they are incapable of.
They make all the excuses in the book for letting their GOP gods take their constitutional rights from them. The poster above me is a very good example of that.

One issue at a time here.
Open Borders..Hmm..Cali. and Texas, One Liberal and One Republican state, both parties to blame there. Oh, and the money is sitting their waiting for the democrat congress to do something with it.
Huge Deficits...Hmm..Well, the current president didn't want to sell our debt to China, and shut down the govt. durning a time of war to keep the deficit down, however the deficit is decreasing.
Millions of illegals, again, both parties. Screacher of the House Nancy Pussloosey and husband have several vinyards, hotels, and resturants that employ mainly mexicans.
Hapeus Corpus can be legally suspended during times of National Crisis, Lincon did it too.
Abu Garhaib, you mean Club Gitmo..How many beheadings have happened there, um lets see, ZERO as comparied to what happens when an American (Civilian or Solider) is captured.
As far as Osama Bin Laden, I don't know, can't really answer that one.

If liberals have in any way believed that republicans are capable of the truth and that there main purpose in life is not to get your money and keep you begging, then they have buckled to the promise politics that these betrayers of the trust has rammed down your throat.

It's sickening, isn't it? I still hear people saying "liberals" are "ruining this country" and we have to "remove them from power?" What?! Are these people insane or on something? I REALLY wonder sometimes if they are not just some recruits from some neocon propaganda organization here to attack anyone with speaking with reason and a sane mind. I guess they're supposed to be here to make America look pro-Bush and give Americans the thumbs down if we don't cheer lead for Bush. Sorry, but the thumbs down just encourages me!

Because the shell-shocked Republicans still think Bill Clinton is President.
He cut their balls off for 8 years and he still owns 'em, mind and body.
Just ask them who's responsible for everything from 9/11 to the crashing dollar and they will squeal and scream Clinton's name.
