yes they just forgot considering them not a friend is worse then them forgetting

I would be very upset. I've actually had something like this happen. My best friend knew about my birthday celebration for about a month and the day of she called me and cancelled! I was so pissed off I didn't call, see, or talk to her for about a month. I actually wrote my friend an e-mail letting her know I was upset because I didn't want to say anything I didn't mean. I would say sit your friends down and let them know how much it hurt you that they forgot your birthday. I'd say just letting it go would cause you to have feelings of resentment towards your friends. However you choose to let them know, make sure you don't accuse them ("You forgot my birthday and I'm mad"). Their reaction will depend on how you word what you're saying so try to take the blame off of them while still getting your point across ("I've been really upset because you forgot my birthday").

Yes, because things happen in people's lives that causes them to forget some things. A friend of mine forgot my birthday last year, but I reminded him a few days later but made it like a joke. We laugh about it now.

yes i would still consider them a friend. some people are not good at remembering dates. some husbands forget. do you say we're no longer married. (i know it would be tempting) my feelings might be a little hurt, but maybe they also have something occupying their mind. there is so much more to friendship than remembering a birthday.

Yes I would consider them my friends if they forgot my Birthday. January was my Birthday and one of my friends forgot and that is ok. We both live busy lives and have families.

Yeah, I could care less whether or not they remember it. I'd be surprised if I remembered it or theirs.
