Not truely. True love involves companionship, which you cannot have with yourself. You can fool yourself into thinking you do...but then again, that wouldn't be TRUE love.
But I guess if you're bi-polar...That was horrible...That's a horrible joke. I apologize.
I'm not deleting it, 'cause someone might find it funny.

I actually tried that once. In the end, I found her interests and expectations from life too shallow and uninspired. It's a great idea to seek out the positive aspects of people, but that won't make their flaws any less destructive.

Yes. They are called narcissists. They are very self centered people whose aim in life is solely pleasing themselves. They can be very charming, and engaging but they are devoid of real interest in other people, even their spouses and kids.
They generally are not curious about the world outside of themselves. It really _is_ all about them. It is a sign of delayed adolescence sometimes. It is also a personality disorder.
In extreme cases it is called sociopathic behaviors and is one of the classic signs of people who can and do persue violent criminal careers.

First one must define what is meant by "Love" - and in it's truest nature, Love is altruistic, unconditional and compassionate. While it is considered healthy to love oneself (i.e. to care about one's well-being by choosing a lifestyle that is nurturing and care-giving), to "fall in love" with oneself would seem to be more ego-based, and, therefore, not love in the truest sense.

to love someone you must know them intimately -- who do you know better than yourself?
on the other hand you find fault with yourself more.
hmm tricky..... i know how to get out of this one....
define love, then add it to the question.
