When I shoot, should the ball ever touch the palm? cuz I've always shot on my palm and spin it with my fingertips. Or should I keep the ball in my fingertips at all times?

Yeah, it's good that it's touching your palm. Uh, well I'll just tell you the basics that you've probably heard a million times... Square up to the basket, bend your knees,and hold your follow through.

here is a method i use. dont focus on that shoot how ur comfortable. push the ball and follow through.. follow through the same each time, that brings consistency and use your upward momentum from bending your knees. and before you know it SPLASH!
