3 days...Yes, you can get pregnant up to three days after intercourse. Say for instance, you had sex on a Sunday and you ovulated on Wednesday, you could get pregnant three days after intercourse.

Sperm can live inside the reproductive tract for 3-5 days. However, it's the fresher sperm that are the healthiest and strongest. While sperm CAN live up to 5 days, most die off before then. Out of the billions that are released during an ejaculation, only a small number actually survive the conditions of the vagina and the reproductive tract.
Good luck.

The sperm do live between 3-5 days and can get you pregnant. Having said that know that there are still variables in each case. How viable your man's sperm is depends on his general state of health. How receptive your egg is to his sperm is another consideration. The egg does the ultimate selection. It can have hundreds of sperm on it and it will chose the one, or none.
Proving once again that you can never out guess a woman's choice.

Typically 72 hours. If you mean is it potent enough after 72 hours to cause pregnancy, yes it is because it is technically still alive, or viable.

In the right conditions (egg white cervical mucus, which occurs a few day before ovulation) it can live up to 5 days. Otherwise it dies after several hours. I got pregnant by having sex 4 days before I ovulated.
