The ignition is turning but it sounds like its not getting any gas. I dont know can someone please help me????????!!!!!

Well first, check and see if you have gas in your tank (and I'm not trying to be condescending; I'm being serious). If there's nothing in there then it won't start.
If there is enough gas in the tank then it's more than likely your fuel pump. Go take it in to a mechanic that you trust and have them swap it out. Change your fuel filter while you are there, if you haven't done it in a while. In fact, get all the preventative maintenance that you can afford. Your car is getting old and will need more TLC as it ages. By getting the preventative maintenance, you can eliminate a lot of things that might happen down the road with an older car.

Cars need three things to run:
1. Air
2. Fuel
3. Electricity

If your car turns over, you have one, electricity. Whether or not electricity is actually making your spark plugs spark, that'll be in the next paragraph. Unless you sucked a bird into your intake manifold or had a packrat make a nest in there, you have air. The problem is probably fuel. Most likely your fuel pump is gone or you have a rotten fuel line where the lining has come loose and clogged it. Dang, you could have a couple of bad fuel injectors too.

To check your spark plugs, remove them one at a time, put them close to your engine block and turn the key over. You should see a spark. If each of them spark, you can be sure it's fuel. By the way, don't put them close to your cylinder. In case it's not fuel, you could burn your face off.

Try cycling the key, back and forth, from off to on. but don't start it. do this for 30 seconds and then try to start it. if that doesn't work, hit the gas tank with a hammer. it might get the fuel pump, pumping again. It sounds like a bad fuel pump.

This may sound weird but happened with my daughters car, and a car of a friend of mine. If the catalitic converter gets clogged up there is too much back pressure for the car to start and remain running. Cut out the converter and put a piece of pipe in its place

IF it starts and runs the fuel pump is good. Replace the battery.

I would hazard to guess that it is the fuel pump. I would change out the pump, filter, and go for a full tune up at the sametime.

Have you checked to see how much transmission oil you have in the box. Sounds as if it is due for a service to the auto trans to me.
