It wasn't my birthday but it was great! OK, this is kinda long so bear with me.

I love Sonic Cherry Limeade. My husband knows this. I call it nectar of the gods.

When my husband was in the military we lived in SoCal nowhere near a Sonic. Sometimes he had to go to a base in Nevada with his squadron. They were allowed to take their cars on the eight hour drive.

One day when my husband came home from one of these trips he asked me to close my eyes. He had a surprise. I heard some clinking and I couldn't figure out what it was. When he had me open my eyes there was a huge glass of cherry limeade in front of me! The ice was still frozen. He had driven the drink from the Sonic eight hours away in Nevada. He kept it in a cooler and stopped often to add ice.

It was better than diamonds. Thinking about it still makes me smile :-)

I had wanted that guitar for a really long time and had been practicing my butt off, so when I saw the guitar... it was a beautiful thing.
