My best friend cheated on her boyfriend over the winter, causing the end of their relationship. She was overwhelmed with guilt over her one night fling, and vowed she'd change. She eventually started dating a good friend of my boyfriend, and we all thought everything was spiffy... until she cheated on him too (this means two within a 6 month period). Now I feel like I can't trust her at all... yet she didn't cheat on me ever, nor did she ever give me specifically a reason not to trust her... how does one react in this situation?

Well you need to find a seperation between her friendship and her poor relationship choices. If she has done nothing to you to challenge your trust, then you have every reason to trust her with your friendship. She just may be bad in relationships, but you should still be her friend and try to help her if she asks. You don't have to approve of her behavior by being her friend, but you also don't have a reason not to trust her as a friend.

GF is on a downhill slide. If you think she will listen, have a chat with her about personal ethics. If she doesn't get it, then run like hell because this girl will be the center of attention even if it is Your SO. It's about the chase and if someone gets hurt? Everytime she does this to herself it will get easier. You seriously need to straighten her out or cut her loose. There are STD's that can make you worse than dead....you may want to have a baby someday, you willing to give that up? Or go behind her back? Uh-huh if this person is part of your future and she doesn't change then I hope you LOVE drama.

Look at it like this. Cheating is lying. Lying is the inability to tell the truth. She has no concern for how anyone else feels but her. That is a very selfish and self-serving attitude. I understand why you don't trust her. I wouldn't ever introduce her to any friend I had that was a man, and I sure wouldn't allow her to be alone with mine. If she is dating someone and they ask you about it, be honest with them. She wont be laughing when a guy she really likes does it to her, and I would n't be her shoulder to cry on. She made her own bed, she can lay in it.

She seems to have a problem being faithful in *romantic* relationships. Since you two are platonic friends, her actions in those relationships should have no bearing on your relationship. Be there for her, people cheat for many different reasons and she is not a terrible person.

Tell her it makes you uncomfortable hearing her cheating stories. Tell her if she needs to vent, she needs to find someone else because you don't like hearing about it. You can still be her friend if she isn't always dragging you down with her.

Just because she's sneaky in love, doesn't make her a bad friend overall. I understand about her "dishonesty," but give her a chance. If it bothers you, talk to her. Good luck.

You know, it's going to be hard not to judge your friend, but unfortunately, that's what you have to do. I say this only because, her love life is her love life. Even though you don't agree with it, don't let it come between your friendship.

you can't trust her. You don't need to hang with liars because people will associate you and her together and then you'll get a bad mark for her bad choices.

Just stay out of it. It'll eventually catch up to her and she'll be cheated on.

I personally think that you have to be honest with her and tell her how you feel as it is important that she knows if she is a friend then she should be willing to listen to your advice as well but listen to her as well. be open and honest with one another thats what friends are for
