Yeah, Geolicious! Send some of that rain down here to S. Florida! We need it!

What the Gomers on the Weather Channel down here in FL do is forecast rain ALL week, and it stays dry - not a frigging cloud in-the-sky. We would be building arks here to survive if the Weather Channel were even CLOSE in its forecasting skills.

I am going to have to agree with you!! I have never seen so much rain, in Texas and I have lived here all my life! It was just amazing to see all the cities that were flooded as so many of them are in the higher plains area! Like Gainesville! That was freakish!

Plus, when I was a little girl, downtown Denton was a great place to go for the afternoon. I had no clue that it was capable of flooding to the point of seeing boats driving on that same main street, I walked! just unbelievable.

I am happy that our water table is full and that the aquifers are the same! The Edwards Plateau aquifer is one of our largest and it must be filled in order for some of these towns to be totally submerged, in water! Especially, the film of the man who was trying to get his family into the attic and the water rose so quickly that he barely had the time to do so! Scary stuff!

This is Texas and our weather changes on a dime! But, I can tell you that I too am tired of all the dangerous storms which have been popping up. That dang Coreolis force brings funky weather patterns, right across us! So, this sudden change in our weather will never stop! It is our location which is fed from the Coreolis force, in the air.

Let's hope the Summer months aren't as hot as Spring has been wet!!

I am not tired of it at all. My vegetable garden is prolific this year and I have only had to hand water one time. It helps me to use less resources and aid in being a little more green. Besides that, just because all the lakes are full now doesn't mean we can't use more rain. I do feel sorry for the people that have been flooded.

Try to be glad for it. Rain is good. A lot of the southeast is having a rough drought.
