Ever since Adam "Pacman" Jones was drafted a few years ago, he has caused so much trouble and embarrassment to the Tennessee Titans, the NFL, the NFL Players Association, and the sport of football itself. Even if the prosecution cannot convict him, he is undeserving to be in the NFL. Low morals, while stupid, are tolerable. However, when Pacman did what he did in the clubs, he deserves to permanently banned from the NFL and maybe even the AFL where Quincy Carter was sent. His self-induced reputation is inexcusable and his celebrity status should not bail him out.

There is a point in time where an athlete must realize that playing as a professional is a privilege and that he forfeits that opportunity of a lifetime when he brings disgrace to every player who suits up for the game. Pacman should be given a lifetime ban from the NFL.

Ban him for life. He's not only trouble - he's a liar. He told the Commissioner that he was going to be good, and drop some of his friends, and not stay out past midnight - he even took out an ad in the newspaper that said those things. He's been given the world on a platter - a second-chance guaranteed after the suspension...and he basically spits on the NFL and all it stands for.
Well....he's either a liar - or too stupid for words.
I say "stick a fork in him - he's done".

Athletes feel they are above the law. as role models they should act appropriately in public. i understand alot of these kids were dirt poor and raised by their grannies and money has just gone to their heads, but as a player with such high potential and playing caliber as Pacman, I'm sorry but the titans need to release him and I am sure they will next year. they wont let Ricky back in and all he does is fail a drug test and meditate. at least he is not tossing money around like its nothing and having an entourage carrying guns.
i like the new rules for thwese troubled palyers and the tough suspensions and penalties for both the players and the teams. Pacman needs to go

Roger Goodell should make an example out of Pacman... give him a lifetime ban and charge the Titans a 3rd round pick (or possibly higher) for not releasing him... Then see if anyone that stupid ever gets drafted to the NFL again...

The first time that I heard that he had been banned for the whole year I thought that was a little harsh, becasue he didnt even go to jail and still got a longer suspension than Tank Johnson, but now that this whole new thing in Atlanta has happened, which includes 2 felonys, I think he should be banned from the NFL forever

I don't think the NFL is going to have to do anything to him; he will do it to himself. The latest news is that he will be brought up on felony charges in Vegas.
Basically, he is going to end up in jail soon. If the courts find him innocent of any wrongdoing (highly unlikely) there isn't much the NFL should be allowed to do. Being a jerk with low morals has never been against the NFL code of conduct before.

He should be sent to the Arena League at a $40,000 annual salary (or is it $25,000) for three years, cut his hair, drive an Escape instead of an Escalade, and stay out of trouble before he's allowed back. Any incident afterward would lead to a lifetime ban.

Not let him play in the NFL anymore. Simple. Any working class stiff wouldnt have got half the chances and breaks he's got. They would have been fired a long time ago. Lets his punk idiot *** play in Canada if he wants to be stupid.

The NFL shouldn't have to do anything with him. If he's broken the law, let the justice system take care of him!
