I disagree with your opening line. The US has the best healt care in the world. Just ask the people who regularly come here for treatment. Then see if you can find anyone from the US who goes elsewhere for treatment.

No I wouldn't move to any of the countries in the top three. I can't speak much French and no Italian.
The reason that Americans don't go abroad for treatment is because it would cost them private rates - nationalized rates are only for those in that country legally (except in emergency of course). There is no sense in going somewhere to get treatment that is not going to be any better than one with money could buy in the USA.
Sadly, the reason that the USA is 37th on the list is because one family in seven has no access to healthcare. The other sad fact is that the USA spends more money on healthcare than any other country but still manages to treat far fewer people effectively. If we don't mind being 37th then lets keep on doing as we're doing and vote for a President who will not bring in universal health care. Then most of us can keep hoping that we don't get so sick so that we end up in hospital, which results in us losing our job, so the company-provided health insurance goes and, because we no longer have work, the COBRA prices are out of reach and because there is now a pre-existing condition one cannot obtain private insurance that will pay for the treatment.
By the way, I have yet to see a health care plan from anyone, including the alleged front-runners from the Democratic Party, which adequately addresses the real issues we all face. What they do manage, however, is to send taxes through the roof. I'd love nationalized medicine and don't mind paying for it in my taxes but I object to the half-baked schemes out there which are designed to do nothing more than get votes.

The US ranks 37th on someone's list. Let me guess that its a list contrived by a special interest that wants America to spend more on health care - like 700 Billion US Dollars from the US Government isn't enough. I hope the doo gooder liberals that think the top 3 are so much better move out; might be able to save this country yet.

whoa bubby how do you know that america ranks 37th? i saw the same news bite and what they didn't go into is are we 37th overall or 37th in just one area? i sure wouldn't stake my bankroll on this statistic. i would like to see the whole articile before i made any assumptions as to the truth of the statement made. why i question that report is the number of people from all over the globe come here to get treated. if we are that lousy what is the number of americans going elsewhere to get treatment? don't always believe what you hear.

Assuming you meant healthcare to mean lowest prices to their citizens. That's because the U.S. is the ONLY country in the so-called Western World that doesn't have a national health care plan....and many countries offer FREE medical.....
That's why our hospitals are going broke, drug prices are skyrocketing and the medical industry is RICH.

One of the " five performance indicators to measure health systems in 191 member states" is;
"Distribution of Health in the Populations" - According to the WHO organization, "The health system also has the responsibility to try to reduce inequalities." In otherwords, the fact that we don't have socialized medicine problably drops us down quite a few notches.

I think those rankings are questionable. From their own report: "It compares each country’s system to what the experts estimate to be the upper limit of what can be done with the level of resources available in that country. It also measures what each country’s system has accomplished in comparison with those of other countries."
Those are not objective or quantifiable criteria.

i assume that is because of the fact in spite of human beings's thought equipment is might constantly lead them to the happiest. Who might have faith something that does no longer lead them to happy? when you consider that united statesa. is a mix of all cultures and ideology, Christianity which has stood for the kind of long term in united statesa. keeps to be maximum expensive tension interior the country. whilst there are diverse races, nationalities, and cultures in this usa, there might constantly be one that stands out the main which type of unifies the finished usa. additionally, when you consider that Christianity is derived from the West, its ability keeps to be solid in united statesa. over each and every of the religions from the East. no longer basically do human beings have faith what they suspect deliver them happiness and wellbeing, yet in addition experience extra advantageous whilst they stay with their western way of life as a replace of that from the East. Europe, on the different hand, does no longer have many immigrants as united statesa. does. human beings do no longer seem to ought to combat for this faith as lots; there are various much less religious alternatives there. As we evolve, faith does evolves too. human beings don't have faith in religions as much as earlier. human beings thrive for something extra intense-tech as a replace. they're happier with how they evolve.
