I read that it used to be regular practice for young women to have enemas once a month, for some reason. And a girl on here recently said her doctor wants her to have one every six months, but not for any medical reason, don't know what country that might have been. Have you ever had regular enemas? Why? How often? Have you ever heard of it? Just curious (and alarmed).

Enemas are used to soften the stool. My mother said that she heard that some Germans have a habit to use the shower and put water up the rectum. It goes into the colon and washes it out. It is not a good practice, though. It washes out the natural bacteria of the colon. Never had an enema.

WOW! I can see that people are very uneducated when it comes to colonics cleansing.
Actually, you are supposed to cleanse the colon more than just once a month. This is because toxins build up in the body, and your body does not know how to get rid of all of them properly. And that is why people get sick. You literally have about 5-7 pounds of crap stuck to the walls of your colon and intestines. It is so hard and dried on because of the toxic acids in your body, that they are actually like rocks. The water going into your body loosens everything up. The pounds of crap will absorb the water, and very gradually, layer by layer, everything will start to come off. You also have parasites that live in your body and eat away at tiny pieces of flesh in your body. This is why people get things like colon cancer or other diseases. Parasites and toxins are very damaging to the human body, while you will probably never get rid of absolutely everything in your body, regular colonics treatments, like once or twice a week, will definately be very beneficial to your overall health.
You will sleep better, your skin will be as clear as ever. You will have more energy, which means that you will get a lot more done during the day. You'll be able to concentrate and remember things better. You won't have things like sore eyes or muscle pains. You'll breathe better, and most of all, you won't get sick anymore. Provided you also keep healthy eating habits and drink lots of water, you should never have another cold or disease.
So, I hope that educates people a little more on colonics. There is nothing scary about it. It is a completely normal thing to have regular treatments.
Some doctors will disagree with my information, but they only just barely touch on the subject in their own studies, so even they are not educated enough to even be advising about it.
I have done my research, so all of this info I have given is factual, not just my own beliefs.

No you don't get regular enemas unless you are constipated. Usually older people get enemas because their bowels don't go on their own. You sure she didn't mean a douche?

It won't hurt you. Some people think it is good to clean yourself out every so often. Toxins etc.
