Most cars have a little metal clip that holds the window crank onto the shaft. There are special tool you can buy that is supposed to make removing and installing them much easier.

I've never bought or used one. The method I use is just as easy and a LOT cheaper . . . . Get a CLEAN shop towel. Put inward pressure on the door panel while you slide the shop towel down near the crank shaft. You can usually feel it catch on the little metal clip. Once you feel it catch you can usually just pull the little clip back enough to remove the handle.

I use a slim pair of needle nose pliers to hold it back a little until I get the crank started back on the shaft to put it back on.

Hope this helps.

Look at the back side of the crank. Most are held onto the shaft by a snap ring. You can pull the snap ring off with a piece of wire bent into a small hook. Be careful not to lose it when it snaps off.

I don't have the service manual or anything, but I bet there's a hex screw holding the thing on. Look for a very small hole somewhere at the base of the crank. If you find one, use varying sizes of hex (allen) drives to unscrew.
