I'd want to wake up in either Starry Night, by Van Gogh and see if it's as warm out as it looks in the painting, OR, I'd want to wake up and be sitting a few feet behind The Mona Lisa so I can see exactly what she's looking at and why she has that sly little smile on her face. I tell you one I WOULDN'T want to wake up in: That one of the farmer with the pitch fork and his wife and they're lookin' all serious. (I forget the name of it--The American Dream or something like that)...They look like they'd lynch a mug like me...or chase me and stab me with that pitchfork!!

Any of the "Ophelia" paintings by John William Waterhouse.
Particularly the first titled simply "Ophelia".

I would choose that particular one because then I would know how the beauty and romanticism of the victorian era felt.

I know I WOULDN'T want to wake up in any H.R. Giger, M.C Escher or Salvador Dali paintings. Total nightmares. Organic walls (Giger), upside down stairs that lead nowhere (Escher), or everything melting (Dali) would be horrifying.

Gray and Gold by John Rogers Cox, because the environment looks turbulent, but strangely calm at the same time. It's very pretty.

I'd wake up in one of Monet's paintings because whenever I wake up, everything's a little blotchy.

The Garden of Earthly Delights by Bosch because it's so unlike my usual nature and more bizarre than even I can imagine.

I thought about this I would love to be in a watermill painting with lots of grass and wildflowers growing. A slice of heaven! Ok and maybe Mr. Right as well! *wink wink*
