A feeling of total dependency.

While it is always a good feeling to be the one someone runs to, allowing them to become dependent on you for their ego and self-worth is not a gift. It is a curse.

Dismissal... a feeling that they are not important.

But it can sometimes lead to the best feeling they'll ever get... self-esteem.
The bounce-back from being made worthless can make a person so strong and full of self worth if they play their cards right.

Ultimately, we are responsible for our own happiness. People can't take away what they didn't give...

Make them feel like they are scum of the earth. A sense of worthlessness, pointlessness, low morale, a feeling that the whole world hates them.

A state like this makes a person feel helpless and stranded. I don't know a worse feeling then that.

The feeling that they don't matter to you at all. Making them feel bad about themselves as if they are worthless.
