I live in Myrtle Beach, SC and it has both... right next door to each other... and as a local Hard Rock Cafe is really better. Planet Hollywood's food isn't the best in the world, but it is priced like it is. while Hard Rock has better food. and in terms of gear Hard Rock has cooler stuff. For example. Planet Hollywood has and Fast Food Bag used in Wayne's World. Hard Rock has guitars used by slash.

Hello there i have been to Planet Hollywood and the Hardrock cafe but not Rainforest cafe, Why not see if you can get a look at the menus online (quite a few places do this now) and it might help you come to a decsion.None of them is going to be particulalry cheap but you get the ambiance too.I would say planet hollwood if u have kids and hard rock if its just adults but at the end of the day its up to you.Whichever you decide I hope you enjoy

I've been to both. Neither is worth the price of the food. The Hard Rock in Nashville has a few cool things on display, like one of Nikki Sixx' outfits from Motley Crue. I went to Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney in Orlando. It was cool to see set pieces from different flicks. Hard Rock seemed to be a bit more toned down, so I'd have to say it's my favorite of the two.

I've been to both, although they were in different cities. The atmosphere at Planet Hollywood in Dallas wasn't the best.
The Hard Rock in Nashville was GREAT! The music was blasting and the wait staff were friendly. It really seemed like "the place to be".
The Hard Rock in New Orleans was great, too.
The Hard Rock in Memphis wasn't as awesome as Nashville.
Hard Rock Cozumel super tiny! I think it's supposed to be the smallest. All it really had was the store items and drinks...we only went in for tshirts.

I went to a Hard Rock in Chicago once it was a nice place. I think Planet Hollywood would be better though.

I think I like Hard Rock better, mostly because they seem more...legit. You know what I mean? It sort of seems like Planet Hollywood is more concerned about being flashy and impressing people and....I dunno. Something. I do like both a lot though. I've only been to the ones in Manhatten, but they were both good. Obviously you never really go to either of those places for the foor, but I think I remember liking Hard Rock's food better too.
