danielle, you don't have to be Indian to wear one. I've seen a lot of Canadian/Americans wear them too.

I never knew the name before! I have never worn one.. but they do look rather glamorous and comfortable!
I really like the first one and the gold and blue one.

I love sarees! As far as cultural traditional dress, the saree wins for its beauty and femininity.
Although I have never had the pleasure of wearing one, I did have mendhi work done on my hands for an acquaintences wedding. Lovely!

These dresses are beautiful, modest and respectful, however as being an American, I usually wear pants, or dresses.
They are elegant, and I have to say Indian women have high morals, and respect unlike American girls who wear thongs, see through clothing or short shorts.

i never knew what a saree was i guess it really is true, you learn something new every day!
i'm not that religion but i do think they look pretty.

i wore my friends saree once and loved it. was not as comfy as jeans or dress obviously but i looked gorgeous!
