Right click on the avatar, save as a picture. Go to your pictures, left click on pic, then zoom

Yes, I do wish that. In fact, my Avatar is a whole body, with a pretty dress, etc, but all you can see is her freaking face! What is up with that?

Sometimes or they have writing on them that you can't quite read in a small pic.

yeah, if they give you the trouble of picking out clothes, earings and a back ground we should be able to see the whole picture. Otherwise our avitar could be naked and no one would care.
