Oh, yeah, lady... Get yourself a computer, find out where is hangs out, and either attack, or praise everything he says. Try to be right, then if he grows to respect your screen personna, then next time there is a conflict, go stand in front of him and "SAY" what you would have typed. Betcha his eyes will bug out...
Or (if that is too hard), get into your own chat room, and everytime he comes into your area in the house, hit your clear button, and smile and say hi... He will begin to wonder what you are doing. If he asks, you say, "Oh, nothing." And tell him you can quit, if he wants... Lots of options, lady...
Ron.

Addiction is a big problem, but it depends on if if it is abusing anything in your two relationship. Example is the house falling part, is work suffering, or are you felling neglected. Decide what is important to you and make sure he know that, men are not mind readers.
Me and my wife have an understanding that everyone has there addictions in life and we work around them. For example we make time for each other and time for our interests.
Half the problem is his forum issue but the other half is you. Find in your self is this worth fighting over. War is never good in a relationship.
Take the time he is spending on the computer and do something constructive with it. My wife got her 2 year degree and that really bought me to reality of how much time I spend on the computer.
I am sure he is a good guy be kind to him and remember all men have there hobbies. Just be glad it isn't illegal.

wow it seems like u definately have been going through a lot with your man. every man feels that need for a new beginning. so try to spice it up. get out of the rut you guys are in. my only fear for you is that he does not seem that into you anymore. im sry that is harsh but let reality set in. it might be over it might now. my advice to u is this, sit down and have a talk about what you both want. is it a break? break up? fear of long term? rut? find out each others feelings. once u have done that and know what each other is looking for spice it up by doing something you normally would not do. also, dont let him treat u bad or make u feel worse about yourself. he has to be a dick if he does not treat u the way u deserve. dont settle for second best. i know u love him but seriously dont put yourself through pain when you love him and he doesnt treat u with love and respect. there are still awesome guys out there so maybe its break time, if yall are meant to be it will happen

Back when I was addicted to World of Warcraft i was addicted to its forums. I quit WoW which in turn meant I quit the forums. Just talk to him about it. Dont ask him to quit. Ask him to not be on so much. Have him go out and do things with you. Im sure he'd find that more enjoyable.

This is a real issue. I am afraid I do the same things some time. I, myself, would like to rip my computer in two at times. I waste too much time here. Hopefully, in time, he will see it as a problem.

In any relationship, each individual needs to keep their own identity and do things that they find enjoyable on their own. Why does it bother you so much? Don't be the possesive type and try to monopolize his time. Believe me, it will not work in your favor.

Tell him either the laptop goes or the computer goes. I have no idea why a guy would spend more time with his machine than with his girl.

Tell him that he's spending too much time online and you miss the time you two used to spend together.
