My son has a small birthmark on is lower right leg and it looks alot like a bat I have always wondered if birthmarks with shapes had really any kind of meaning behind them

Some people think that birthmarks are carry overs from past lives.Like if you got shot in the arm in a past life and in this life you have a birthmark on the arm in the shape of a bullet wound.

Rodos also looks like a stalk of corn. Your mother while pregnant with you was craving corn on the cob and didn't get to eat it. That is why you have that birth mark. It is not some divine meaning or you are some greek goddess lol.

If we were in Salem in 1692/3 people would think it was his familiar. A spirit of satan's that visited him and gave him instructions. He could be codemned as a witch. But thankfully that test for witchcraft has been disproven by most... the genetic comments may be accurate.

i have never reseached this, interesting though.

my grandmother, mother, mother's sister and i all have a mole in the same exact place on our backs.
myself and all of my sons have chocolate birthmarks.

As far as my studies have taught me.. All birth marks are Genetic faults and someone one in all of your generations have carried that same birth mark.. Also no birth marks carries any meaning other then knowledge of your ancestors.. In ancient time and even today birth marks was use as a form of identification... And has no other meaning other then what man-kind attaches to it............................................... One more thing Royal families were able to identify members of their families via a certain birth mark......................................................
