I first picked up Anita Baker because I like bluesy sounding female singers with strong, yet feminine voices.
My youngest daughter stole my tape (this was in the early 90's) and I never saw it again, but I got to listen to it occasionally when she listened to "her tape".
Then she finally gave it back to me when she moved into this house in 2005. It still plays, but has been played so much that the sound quality is terrible. Still not enough to give up on it entirely though.
My youngest daughter keeps on promising to replace it with a CD of the same album. I am still waiting.
The album is Compositions.
