It will end when the Sunni and Shiite put their differences aside and work toward peace. Their hatred and differences go back to the death of Mohammad, so their differences are centuries old. If they cannot put their differences aside, then there will be no peace.

Seems that there are two problems. First there's the lack of unity in Palestine and then there's the Arab thirst for the destruction of Israel. Now if someone was openly intent on destroying you, would you be willing to give them more land?
It seems that there was a chance a while back, but Arafat got greedy.
So it looks like the only way to solve the problem is to destroy Israel and for the entire world to become Sunni Muslim and make all women subservient to men per Shariah Law and subject to stoning.
Then we'll have peace.

It is not my intention to embarrass you, but, La La Land will never exist in the Middle East between the Jews and those of the Muslim faith be they Arab or Persian. A good historical reference for your question is the Old Testament in the Bible. The interests of the US in supporting the right of Israel to have its' own state emanate from the Jewish population in the US. Also, most American lawmakers have been Christians and thus, the Bible has a great deal to do with their philosophy in regard to the conflict in the Middle East. Specifically, no there will never be in our lifetime a uniting of ideas among the Jews and Arabs that will solve the terrible situation in Gaza.

I would love to see an independant, thriving Palestine. I am disappointed in the Palestinian people, when I see them fighting and killing each other. They need to focus on forming their own government and own country and getting along with other people so they can be a part of the global world. I hope and pray that they will be at peace someday.

These people have been fighting each other, and anybody else for thousands of years.
It is obvious that the Iranians are behind it and are supplying the arms and money

This problem is "cyclical" and there is no quick fix, but, we should never stop trying. That would be the greatest atrocity
