C. of course. It's obvious to any serious history student. The reason it was so effective was because it was a surprise attack on a quiet Sunday morning (or maybe not so quiet). The worst "unprovoked" attack to American forces in U.S. history at the time. Hawaii wasn't even a state at the time, amazing.

It is unconscionable that you don't know the answer to this.
If you know enough to use the Internet and type (although your spelling and grammar need work) how do you not know this???
I could give you books and sites too innumerable to mention about what led us into the War, indirectly, but I really don't think you care.
We were "involved" in the War for years leading up to Japan's unprovoked attack on Pearl Harbor - which is your direct cause.

Well, I think it wasn't a World War until Japan struck Pearl Harbor... before that, we were fighting completely on the European side. When Japan hit Pearl Harbor, we were fighting both Atlantic and Pacific enemies.
