God of the bible

2007-06-20 17:52:47 · answer #1 · answered by robert p 7 · 1 0

Hebrews 3 v 4 says:
Every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.

Psalm 19 v 1-4 says;
The Heavens decalre the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.

The Bible affirms that the univese was designed and created by an intelligent God.
All designs imply a designer
There is great design in the universe, therefore there must be a Great Designer of the universe.
We might also put it this way
Signs of intelligence always imply an intelligent being.
There are great signs of intelligence in the universe, therefore, there must be a Great Intelligence who created the universe.

Some theorize that the Universe was created by the Big Bang. We can trace our Universe's history back to a thing called "singularity" which is an infinitesimally small "point" in time. The Big Bang was when singularity ceased to be and everything burst forth in heat and energy to create the Universe as we "know" it today (which...we don't truly *know* it, yet). I might not have explained the Big Bang correctly, and there is no saying that it is the end-all of all theories. There is, of course, with any theory, speculation and critics. It could be right, it could be wrong...but it's a beautiful theory nevertheless.

Well why don't we all give a round of applause to the highly educated person who answered your question with the God thing again. His expertise in Astronomy and total knowledge of Outer Space is truly astounding and factual to such an extent that we should all chip in and purchase him a soap box to place on the nearest street corner and aid him in preaching to passers by.

Now, moving on to your question. There is no simple direct answer to this question. The Earth has been estimated to be some four to five billion years old. Before that no one knows what existed because no person was alive then to tell us, and writing (as in printed books, parchment, and pen/ink had not been invented yet. So there is nowhere to go and find a definitive history of the situation or the event. There are a number of interesting theories on the subject which may be easily found on the Internet and simply do not bear repitition here in a condensation of one or two words.

It is rather presumptuous to assume that the average man in the street would today hold the answer to such a question on the tip of their tongue. That is where the God Phreaks jump in because they say they have the answer, pointing to a printed book that is nowhere near four billion years old... View all this kind of stuff as anchient tales, folklore, and myth, which is what it is.

A very interesting but hard question. At this time no one knows the answer to that. There are lots of theories out there but none has be proven.

One theory is that the universe came from virtual particles in a vacuum. Virtual particles are ones that come into existence in the vacuum of space and disappear before they have any effect on our universe. Scientist have been able to create and study these particles and they can have any mass. It is possible, just by chance, that virtual particles with the mass of the universe sprang from the vacuum and created our universe.

Another theory comes from string theory in which there are extra-dimensional objects called branes that create new universes when they collide.

Of course this just puts the question off as you could ask where the vacuum, virtual particles and branes came from. So scientists don't have any answers yet and may never be able to know.

The best way I can answer your question is to remind you that before the big bang that science says began the universe full of matter that we see today there was nothingness, a void. A void has no dimensions. It's nothingness and cannot be measured in three dimensions. You could argue that the universe itself does not really exist. Only the matter within it does. Men have pondered this question for eons and you could say it's the question of the ages. This explanation is all just my own theory.

where the universe came from good quetion,in the first moments, the universe was infinitely dense, unimaginably hot, and contained pure energy. but witnin a tiny fraction of a second, vast numbers of fundamental particles had appeared, created out of energy as the universe cooled. within a few hundred thousand years, these particles had combined to form the first atoms.
the big bang not an explosion of space but an expansion of space and it happened every where. no one knows what happened in the first instant after the big bang, known as the PLANCK ERA, but at the end of this period, they believe that gravity split from the forces of nature, followed by a strong nuclear force. many believed this event triggered INFLATION a short but rapid expansion. if infation did occur, it helps to explain why the universe seems so smooth and flat. during inflation, a fantastic amount of mass-energy came into existance, in tandem with an equal but negative amount of gravitational energy, by the end of inflation, matter had bequn to appear.

Well in the Bible it talks about how "God made the heavens and the earth" and the 7 days of creation. On one of those days he must of created the universe.

As speedy says, we dont know how He did it, but God said He created everything, all that is good and wonderful But of course since then , devil has made a few things too,not life, but a mess of Gods orginal plan and put much ugly into it all . ALl good is of God and all ugly is of the devil. That simple. We dont have minds to undersatnd each and every detail, as we have finite minds. BUt, God has invinite wisdom and only He understands the why and how of it all. ITs just here for us all to enjoy, and we dont even have to worry about it. Just believe what God tells us ane ENJOY to the fullest all He created for us to enjoy and take nothing for granted. Each little leaf blowing in the breeze, each breeze as it falls against our face, each rainbow that hovers all over the sky in wonderment, each rain that falls, each ray of sunshine, each snowflake that falls so different and so precice, each mountiop, each valley, each river, each ocean, every flower, all of it testifies of GOD. and we didnt have to do it or worry how He did it. Just love it all and daily Thank and Praise Him for it. ITs all good, as God is a good God, even in trials, God is good, as if we stay with Him and faithful to His word, He will get us thru anything and even make us stronger for it. Faith still moves mountains. ENJOY IT ALL HALLELUJAH>>>> YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO>

I don't know the answer, but I do know of one who does. It is God. He "created worlds without number." My guess is that he was talking about those. I think that it didn't happen all at once, but over a period of time, for the testing of humankind.

I believe GOD is the only one that knows that answer. Our mind is not capable of understanding.
