The Blind Prince
Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess. She was so beautiful no one could truly love her. Her father sought to get her married, but she always complained that the prince didn’t truly love her. One day the princess’ father came to her and told her there was only one more prince left, but he was blind. The princess was delighted that she didn’t have to meet tons of men anymore, so she agreed to meet him the next day. When the prince arrived she noticed something different about him, he was kind! Since he could not see her beauty he could truly love her. The couple got married the next day.

Like all stories this one starts with It was a cold and rainy night. Lisa was on her way home, taking her usual way home along the I 95 highway in her red corvette. She loved the open road, and bad weather never scared her. As her car hugged the road she had a feeling of peace, and true pleasure from the job she had completed at the ad agency. It was a difficult task for her as she had to develop a campaign to promote a chemical agency that she despised. It used unorthodox procedures to test it's products, and it was thought they used animals to test their products, something she morally was against
Lisa had done such a good job that her boss was prepared to give her a promotion. Lisa was not sure if she should accept his offer as it would mean leaving her home and security in Bay Cove. It would mean leaving the love of her life, Scott. Lisa would spend the week end trying to decide what she would do next.........(to be continued)

Okay mine is a poem/story about once when I was in school and there was a fire drill.
okay here goes
FIRE
Mindin ya biz
doin ya work
ya sixth sense kicks in
ya give ya head a jerk
the bell goes off
ya body goes into alert.
ya run as quickly as the fire's bout ta spread
ya mind feelin the ultimate dread
ya get outside all is safe an clear
ya mind gets rid of ya unwanted fear
Then you're filled with anger an disgust,
cuz ya must know why you were so boldly dragged into the cold
ya see ya need to calm down, cuz while you was runnin for tha hill,
turns out,
it was just a drill.

Once there was a dragon who lived only on the happiness of others. His name was Denamo. He never had happiness of his own though. Once he was thinking of happiness and he got mad, so he went down to a lady who could see the future. He asked her what his future held. She told him he would be miserable for the rest of his life. Denamo then blew fire over the city and fled away home. His mind was pondering what it would be like to have happiness. To the library he went to find it. He found a book called "10 Tips to Happiness". After finishing the book he kindly put it back on the shelf. The librarian was pleased to see him go. At his lair he slept and his mind flipped through all of the tips the book had given him. Denamo was thinking of changing his ways and having his own family. First he had to find all the she dragons. Once he did that he met Montina, who accepted his proposal to marriage. A son was born that very year, Riston. The Rackano family had found it's happiness together, and together they found peace.

Once upon a time there were who had innocence, chastity, and purity. Who lived souly for love. But those people died and were forgotten. There deepest hopes were to keep the utopia they had built. But as time evolved life became harder and people were faced with evil and gave in. So now the the world is mess filled with ugliness and phobias, and the lack of faith. And all we can do is to hope that the worl has enough good left in it for it not to be the end...

Geezus, with spelling like that you're hardly in a position to judge a short story competition.

When my mate G worked at a call centre, he couldnt be arsed dealing with customer complaints so he would say, "good morning, my name is andy, thank you for call...." and then just cut them off- making it look like the line had gone dead.- lazy bastard, the end.

But for me, I make a practice to only have those who can spell correctly, judge my stories.
