A great way to find out what is included with your new Mac is to look at its technical specifications on the Apple website. From Apple.com click on the Mac link in their menu and select the Mac you want. Everything you could possibly want to know is on their site. If for instance you wanted the specifications on the 20" iMac (Intel), you would go to the bottom of the page with all of the iMacs listed (there are 4. Two 17", One 20", One 24") and around the middle there you should see "Tech Specs" on the side of the screen. Click on that and it will say everything that Apple so wisely put in their system.

To answer your two questions above directly, your iMac will come with a wired mouse and keyboard at no additional cost to you, but since you're buying a Mac, you should continue with the goal of "the end of desktop clutter" and get the wireless keyboard and mouse. I did. DO NOT get the Western ones...they're not what you want. I think to get the wireless ones it is a $50ish upgrade. If you don't get the wireless ones when you originally buy the computer, you can still buy them later should you decide to. They run off of Bluetooth 2.0, which runs standard on all iMacs now.

As far as buying something extra to play games or bring in CDs and DVDs, all Macs have a CD tray placed vertically on the side of the machine. I would highly recommend to you that you get at least a 20" iMac, because that will get you the 8x SuperDrive, which is definitely important in speeding up the import/export of your computer.

You mentioned game playing up there, so you should be aware there is not too great of game support for the Macintosh platform. I would recommend you install Boot Camp (either via free Public Beta or wait for Leopard in the fall) or purchase Desktop Parallels, both of which will allow you to run Windows XP or Vista on your Mac, allowing you to use any program or run any game you want to.

If you want to know anything else, you can either email me or look on the Apple website forums. Someone can sure answer any question you have!
