art is capturing imagination or life on paper....it could be drawing, pianting, singing, dance, acting etc...it is a way of expressing oneself.

It's not like the classic arts, painting, photography, sculpture, are going anywhere. They can co-exist, one is not really better than the other, it's up to what medium the artist likes to use. I studied art in college, I am an artist that likes to do all of them. Somedays I want to paint, others, maybe get out and take some photos, some days use Photoshop, some days I want to get my hands into some clay. If you continue to do one single thing you get stagnant.

I too side with the answerer that said that Art is in the eye
of the beholder.This doesnt apply to Art history (and its authors).

better. either that or the same. its hard to compare, there so different. they're both creative so i like them both.=)
