I still support Bush but disagreed with going into Iraq. I do now agree that we can't leave at this point and have to help the Iraqi government stabilize the country.

I never did support Bush, he just seemed to sneaky to make a good president. That's sad because I was ten when he was elected, and even I knew he'd be a bad president. I think that America would be a lot better if they hadn't had Bush. For one thing, there wouldn't be any 'I hate Bush' internet sites, tv shows etc. There would still be a war, but maybe it wouldn't have lasted this long. A lot of young people would still be alive, and the USA wouldn't be so generally hated. Also, the money they spent on the war would have been put to better use, like educating people about peace or keeping kids in school.

I have not heard this much propaganda since I studied World History in College.
Yes and no. I still support the :President of the United States. He has not lied to US. In my opinion a suicide bomber is a WMD. No need for millions to die, each brave soldier proves that. Had we not shown force I truly believe that we would see more strikes on our soil. Now 9=11 first responders are dying. The numbers are mounting. I just see Pearl Harbor and tragedies that could happen again without the horrible sacrifice of war. Thank you.

Perhaps some would feel better if a draft was in place? Maybe if we were not sandwiched between two Clinton's wanting back in control I may have thought more of this. Cheney I do not like. The Generals are being fired finally. Because they did not do their jobs not because they argued with Bush. You can not delegate authority and when it fails maintain the staff. The first deployment was flawed and these professionals should have done better to advise the President.

I was initially for the war; however, almost every justification has been false (WMD, nuclear threat, freedom of Iraqi people). The only reason that was true is that Saddam was an evil dictator (but so are other leaders).

I think the final straw for me was the logic that if we don't fight them over there we'll be fighting them here. When I watch the news it seems like we're doing both (the two foiled terror attacks).

Not to digress too much, but my waning support for Bush is due in part to other issues.

I never supported Bush. I thought the republican party should have nominated McCain, but Bush incited moral panic over gay marriage and got enough votes from people who obviously never heard of the establishment clause to win.

Bin Laden captured
(the guy actually responsible for 9/11 that THIS ADMINISTRATION has forgotten)

the United States has its worldwide respect back
(who will ever believe our "intel" again after the way Bush twisted it to meet his own goals)

a trillion or so dollars used for WAR spent on Social Security and Health Care
(oops I guess that would take a democrat in office)

Not before nor after. I knew this country was in trouble when he was on the Republican ticket for 2000. I am not surprised the outcome of this administration. It will take quite a bit for this country to become respectable and great again

I didn't support him then I don't support him now. There has been so much brouhaha since he has been in office I can't fanthom where we would be now as a nation. I'm sure we would still be at war though. We would probably be fighting with Korea.

Nope, never did vote for him. to me, he was the greater evil, and i helped campaign against him.
now everyone I know who did vote for him, wished they never have, but only acknowledge me being right, by saying "I don't want to talk about it. That man needs to keep his nose in his own country where it belongs!"

Everything he did wrong, came at them like Deja Vu, because i already told them it was going to happen.
