Depends on the purpose. For French Toast, thick is the way to go. But for most sandwiches and ordinary toast, I prefer medium. I like thin breads for making tea sandwiches,

I prefer medium for sandwiches, thick for french toast. There are many rules governing bread at our house LOL

Medium is best. The slices are large enough to satisfy you and you get more in a loaf

Medium. It's not too thick that you cannot fit in your mouth and not too thin where you cannot feel what you've just eaten.

sure, I bear in mind there have been skinny slices and that they stayed on the cabinets. They have been too flimsy and did no longer make sturdy sandwiches. i bear in mind that some weeks whilst they got here out, they have been all in the discounted bin at 50 p.c. off. They made sturdy bread crumbs.
