Name calling and sweeping generalizations are made from both sides of the political spectrum. The manner in which you pose your question invites responses that you may not like. When you ask a question that is neither biased or inflammatory in nature the answers you receive will reflect that --- then JUST MAYBE, people will actually take you seriously.

Here's a few facts for you:
Reagan gave amnesty to 9 million illegal immigrants in 1986.
Bush Sr. promised "Read My Lips, no new taxes", then raised taxes.
The only welfare reform that has been passed in the last 20 years was passed by Bill Clinton and required those on welfare to look for work and put term limits on welfare.
The largest entitlement program passed in the last 20 years was the Medicare Part D legislation passsed by George Jr.
Blows a few holes in all you guys talking points, don't it.

I don't know why they act that way on here. I agree that the liberals are quite insulting. However, they help in showing their ignorance. Case in point...see above.
