If you have a car, and a lot of stuff - enough to fill an average sized UHaul - but you want to FLY to your next destination because there's only one of you and your car doesn't haul a Uhaul, etc, how do you get your car from one side of the country to the other? or from one side of the states into canada? Can you "ship" your car, in a way? at all?

You could get your stuff and your car shipped but it is really expensive.

You could rent a uhaul truck and tow your car behind it. I've moved over 600 miles before and was lucky to have family to help me...we had a truck with a uhaul and drove my car. It worked out.

Hire someone to drive it. I know my sister recently moved from Canada to Florida and she sent all of herself there with a local trucking service. You pack the stuff, you take it to the trailer and you place it in the trailer. You secure it and they ship it. Now, moving a car to another country has issues and you may have to change the dash or things in the dash. Due to the fact that Canada uses KMs and the USA uses miles.

Good luck and happy move to you!

Yeah you can ship it but it cost. You are better off driving it. Or if you are lucky you can find someone to drive it for you. But danger there they might drive it to Mexico and sell it. You might never see them or your car again.

Best is to pack what you can and ship the rest, or sell it and buy new.

Another alternate method is to rent a U Haul and car dolly (I don't remember what they call the things) so you can pack your things in the truck and pull your car along behind you.

Rent a truck (not trailer) to haul your belongings and tow the car on a dolly.
