okay according to the parents the first name is pronounced like "your highness" (Ur High Ness).

personally i think that the kid will have to grow up to be a rapper or a pro athelete like a boxer if he's going to survive

Well if he survives his youth intact I hope the first thing he does is shoot his parents ! Then petition the court to change his name.
Maybe he can get them for child abuse!

His parents were definately "Fried" when they named this kid.

There ought to be a law for stupidity.... punished by stoning

For an amazing collection -- actually, *two* amazing collections -- of bizarre and hilarious names actually bestowed on actual people, check out John Train's "Remarakable Names of Real People" and "Even More Remarkable Names." Great at parties. Links below.

It may be worth noting that many of the seemingly unfortunate individuals cited in those volumes did in fact go on to very successful careers in law, medicine, education, science, and finance, among other endeavors (including sports).

Poor child... here's hoping they call him Kendall.

I can almost understand Urhines (I'm assuming it's pronounced Your Highness...), that could be considered creative if it were'nt so creepy... Kendall is really cute, and I know Special K is a cereal (maybe she was eating that when she went into labor?) - but I don't understand Icy Eight.

I know parents want their children to be different but when they grow up their personality will make them shine instead of a stupid name that will probably overshadow anything special they do. The guy could cure aids and I'd be stuck on how did they get that name.

That is the craziest thing I have ever heard. Those parents are idiots. And I thought Female was bad - pronounced "Fee-ma-leigh" I heard this story years ago. The woman that gave birth to her daughter saw the ID tag on her wrist/ankle and of course the sex was Female. When asked what she was going to name her baby, she said, "The hospital already did that , Female". Stupid, Stupid, Stupid.

He will probably just be called Ken, that would be fine. I wish these parents would exercise their creativity in a way that doesn't impact their kids, like write a poem, paint a picture etc.

I agree, that name is terrible, but not as the name that the former Govenor Hogg of Texas gave to his daughter: Ima! The poor lady had to go through life with the name Ima Hogg!
