Highly possible, especially if we feel harry's scar is the last horcrux

Possible? Yes. However, I frankly doubt it, given the lines that Rowling wrote in "Order of the Phoenix" regarding Harry's destiny; paraphrasing, he and Voldemort are destined to confront one another, that one must eliminate the other, and that if both are alive at the same time, neither can truly "live." Therefore, killing Harry would essentially be letting Voldemort triumph, and I don't think Rowlings would end her series on such a depressing note. I suppose it's possible Harry could die after he kills Voldemort, from injuries sustained in battle or something, but him being killed off before Voldemort dies is very unlikely -- and according to Rowlings, no one can do it except Harry.

I think he might die. Jk Rowling has made done quite a bit of foreshadowing in all of her books and Several times different charachters have mentioned that there are certain things that are worth dying for. I also still have a feeling about Neville Longbottom possibly killing Voldemort. I guess there is only one way to tell for sure though.

Part of me wants JK Rowling to kill off Harry. I mean, I don't want other people to write fan fictions and other stuff. If she leaves him alive then plenty of people will try to write their own endings. And Rowling reportedly told interviewers that the series would die with her or something along those lines. I can't really see Harry getting married and living to be 80 or something. Its hard because if he kills Voldemort, then what will their be left for him to do? Become an Auror? There won't be much for them to do if You-Know-Who is gone. Personally, I hope Harry dies killing Voldemort.

I heard a rumor but I do not know if it was magazine, news, internet that their is going to be one more book. If that is the case then Harry can not die. At least you would not think so. I think it is more likely that most of his chums are going to get killed in some big battle in the book coming in july.

According to rowling, if voldy has to live, harry potter has to die, and vice versa.

After all those millions she made selling those books, she would have more sense than killing off the lead...

Sigh. Nobody will be happy if the author makes him die ! That is reality, so she will have to make him go on and on and on and on until he becomes a wrinkly Rip Van Potter and he will die of old age. Lol.

I think it's highly possible. Rowling said she didn't want to leave any room for other author's to continue with the story after the 7th book, so it's not unlikely. I hope he doesn't, but we'll just have to see.
