I definitely believe that it is a possibility.
The Angels are in very good shape being six games ahead of the AL West division. There is a very good probability of them winning the AL West. If the trends hold up they will play an AL Central team in the 1st round of the playoffs, and the Angels seem to match up well against all three contenders there(Detroit, Cleveland, and Minnesota). A possible meeting with the Red Sox would not happen until the LCS, and Boston would look vulnerable against Detroit or Cleveland. So the Angels path looks good.
As for the Dodgers they right now are tied for 1st in the NL West with San Diego. The trends show that both the Dodgers and San Diego would make the playoffs, unless Philadelphia or the Braves make a big run. If the Dodgers can beat out San Diego for the division title, they would face the NL Central champion 1st. After that then they would face the Mets, and the Dodgers match up well against the Mets.
So it is possible, but the Dodgers need to play better on both offense(improve the OBP, get more than 2 total home runs out of the top 3 in the order) and defense(Pierre and Gonzalez are both bad in the field, and Kent is close to being a statue and 2nd base) to win their division.

I think the Angels are geared up for a deep playoff run and can possibly take it all. The Angels do not need a power bat, the team is built around speed, chemistry, and pitching (Just like in 2002). Now I don't think the Dodgers will even make the playoffs there starting pitchers are too inconsistent and offense goes into a funk at the wrong times.

Angels Dodgers??? are u kidding me.... hahahha

Angels will deffenetly b in the world series, but not against the dodgers... dodgers are a long way before they could even be considered a team that would possibly make it to the series.. haha

ps.. ANGELS DO RULEE!!!! =]

that would suck who would want a freeway series with a dumb name the Angels have. The Dodgers VS. The Yankees would be a much better world series. Besides the Angels don't even play in the city or county of LA. I someone that lives in LA know no one in LA cares about the Angels.

It's definitely possible, but then at this point in the season, a lot of things are still possible. I do see the Angels as a more serious WS contender than I do the Dodgers.

i could extremely decide for to make certain a Dodgers Angels worldwide sequence. i'm from St. Louis so I have not got any actual attachment to the two team. I in simple terms hate continually seeing communities from the East Coast. FOX would not want a Dodger Angels worldwide sequence via fact it gets poor scores with out manhattan team. i do no longer decide for to make certain a team from the East. shall we see communities from different factors of the rustic. There have in simple terms been a handful of international sequence thoroughly West of the Mississippi

It's definitely a possibility. Being a Dodger fan that moved to the Northwest many years ago, I'm hoping for an I-5 series Dodgers vs. Mariners.

Sure, it's definitely possible. The Angels lead their division and the Dodgers are only a game and a half behind in theirs, plus they lead the Diamondbacks by percentage points in the wild card race.
