Could be any of over 100 different things. It could be as simple as a loose gas cap or as serious as an impending system failure.

You can bring it to any major auto parts supply stores and they can plug into the diagnostic port and get you the trouble code, usually for free.

Without a diagnostic scanner, it is impossible to tell

Ive been doin automotive electrical work for a long time dude. You got big problems! Never heard of auxilliary power! Sounds like some dumbass has been in your wiring. Take it to a repair shop before the dash goes into nuclear meltdown. Couldnt begin to guess what your problems are from here. You might change the ignition switch as pinion said.

all that light means is that the computer, during diognostics has found something out of sinc with what it relates to being "normal",
it could be something very simple. just a shade tree test, try unhooking the battary for a few minutes , then re-attach the cables and see if the light clears. i would try this first before spending money getting somebody to hook it to a scanner.

usually the first thing that goes is the oxygen sensor, it cost about $20 bucks and its easy to change. just unhook the battery and unplug the sensor, then scrwe the old 1 out and screw the new 1 in, wait for a while and hook up the battery.

Take it to a parts store like autozone that can scan the computer for trouble codes---when you find out the codes, repost your question with the codes.
