it cannot be a or b thus C. reason...
a. louis xvi was no spartan... he was poorly educated and manipulated by his advisers..family..and the vatican II cardinal... three muskateers didnt do doo doo but make great bed time stories.
b. napoleon based his american conquest on the basis that his tobacco and sugar plantations in trinidad would be logistically supplied with the needed matierial to support the carribean colony. after he lost trinidad to armed revolution secretly supported by the US... napoleon lost all interest and decided to sell its land to the US and spain.
