Uroosa is strange....but i still like them :) It is very special to have a name from your culture.I know alot of indian names may sound strange but have beautfiul meanings. Are you looking to choose a name for someone?

-Rubina means ( Red-colored precious stone)

-Fahmeeda means (Brilliant)

-Salma means (Safe, peaceful)

I like Indian names. I like Salma and Rubina, very cute. Uroosa and Fahmeeda are not so bad, but I wouldn't use them.

I really like Rubina and Salma. Uroosa sounds really beautiful, but because it's clearly an Indian name and I am not Indian I'd feel weird using it for my own child. Fahmeeda isn't really my style, but it's cool. I think there are a TON of awesome Indian names. I like Kavita, Priya, Aditi, and Adrisa for girls and Ajoy, Arjun, and Ijay for boys.

They are not at all weird. In fact they are lovely & cute. I think all names are cute because there are some meaning behind it, some memories, and some love.

They are different to us (diff. culture), so they sound weird, but cool at the same time. Rock on!
