I'm Hispanic and if I ever meet you I'm kicking your a%&, anyway what exactly is authentic American food? Hamburgers? Hot dogs? Mac n cheese? Americans never really had authentic foods, they just took things like pizza, french fries and made them better. I agree with other answers above, Americans come in different cultures and colors. Stop being naive.

At the Japanese place in town, Hispanics are the cooks there too. OMG they are taking over! Run! Just kidding my girlfriend is Hispanic. Who cares who cooks the food as long as it tastes good?

Many American restaurants have Hispanic cooks. I even know of some Italian restaurants that have Hispanic cooks. I'm not sure why, but I assume (as bad as it sounds) that they are cheaper than American or real Italian chefs.

I ate a Chinese place in a mall once but there wasn't one Chinese working there. They were all Hispanics. Their food was still good...especially the egg foo young tacos.
