For me it would be to cook a nice dinner because I don't usually cook. Maybe make up a plate of cheese, bread, fruit and get some wine/champagne. Then maybe a bubble bath for two. All over body massage (give or receive or both). Go to a movie and start touching each other...make out in the car....then rush home and make love in every room of the house. Have a picnic in the back yard.

Just some thoughts for me if you want to stay at home.

I don't know what the occasion is but you can have his favorite dinner cooking and little post it's all over the house that lead him to a gift of some sort. Like before he gets home have a post it on the front door saying go to the fridge or something, then on the fridge have a post it saying go to the couch ..you get the idea. It's like a scavenger hunt. It's very romantic and make sure to look really nice that night. Get your hair done and believe me you will have a great evening.

Make his favorite dinner and put candles on the table when u eat & a romantic CD playing in the background & just talk. After dinner..take him to your room where you will ahve rose petals all over the bed & a bubble bath started for the 2 of u to have together, with candles everywhere... After the bath, maybe give him a nice massage & top it off with desert :o) I bet he will like that...as much as men don't admit it, they like to be romanced too...

Dinner by candle light. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just dinner for the two of you. Maybe dress up for him. The important part is being alone, and telling him and showing him (through the look in your eyes, holding his hand, and things like that) how lucky you feel to have him in your life. Whether guys will admit it or not, that is definitely romantic and more meaningful then what happens after dinner.

Make a invention saying you are invited to spend a romantic evening with me alone, put on a sexy nighty, have finger food and in the bed room have Hersey kisses or his favorite candy leading to the bed then on the bed have rose petals, then give him a rub down from feet to head.

Just do the expected.....with you doing all the work & planning.

the menu
the cooking
the music & lighting
his favorite dessert
then maybe a nice bubble bath for two with something special to drink

don't forget the candles.

It doesn't matter what you do other than to take the time and express what's in your hearts. Make sure he understands that that's what the objective of the date is.

Either that, or wear a slinky outfit the whole evening.

You idea of romantic is most likely boring to him. Do you want to do something for you or something for him?

If you truly want to do something for him, make him feel special, then take him to a ball game, or to dinner and a dance club, or to a strip club. Do something a guy likes.

Well if you like to cook have a candlelight dinner . If your not that sophisticated just take him to the batters cages for a couple of hours.
