What a sad life they live.

I'm not talking about myself because I have great grammar and know how to spell and have been to college. I'm talking about seeing arrogant pricks like the first answerer who I based this question off anyways that waste time being annoyed by something as stupid as OTHER PEOPLES grammar. Worry about yourself and shut up.

Yes it DOES. I spell and punctuate exactly as I choose. No one here is being graded. If I don't like someone's spelling, I stop reading and go somewhere else. I do know correct form, and use it when it's important to do so, but I see no dang reason to worry about it here!

Not at all.

I think proper spelling and grammar are important, for one (I know, I'm a big dork, but I do!)

Number two, I won't point it out just for the sake of pointing it out in an answer. If it's a valid question with a glaring error, I'll answer the question, and correct their grammar.

No. It bothers me more that you're so concerned about other people hating poor spelling and grammar. Maybe you should worry less about what others think and more about your own sad life you live. I think people have awful spelling and grammar skills these days and there is NO excuse for it.

It is more annoying when people have horrible spelling and grammar and they they wonder why people dont take them seriously. I'm not nit picky or anything and it has nothing to do with typos but why don't people learn these things in school or are they just lazy?

No. It's sad how people can't spell even though they're past the grammar school age.

Not at all. Because there is a spell check button at the top of the box where you enter text, so I don't think there is any excuse for misspellings.

It's not that we have nothing better to think of but rather the English language is embedded into our brains so deeply that it is impossible not to notice when something is incorrect. Just as if you saw someone write 2 + 2 = 5 you'd be inclined to say something to them, so are we when we see someone write "your" when "you're" should have been used, etcetera.
I am sorry that it bugs you.

It doesn't bother me 'cause bad grammar and spelling gets on my nerves. So many little kids and adults on Y!A don't know how to spell and it's so sad.
